Wineries are big, expensive things to set up. From hundreds of thousands to the millions of dollars to establish. Land, shedding, insulation, refrigeration, pumps, filtration, presses, racking, barrels, fermenters, gurneys, barrel cleaners, laboratory, lighting, alarms and so on.
Being a new micro-batch wine label, for the time being we lease the use of wineries to undertake our winemaking.
The magic, once the place and equipment are sorted, is in the winemaker’s hands.
Much like Michelin starred chefs, it is half science and half art.
Our aim in the winery is to handcraft minimal intervention authentic, quality McLaren Vale wines that speak of their provenance and match perfectly with the food you love.
