A main of Roasted pork belly w a seared scallop, eggplant pickle, local snow peas, coriander & jus $32.00: the richness of the pork belly will be perfectly counter-matched by the balanced fruit, acid, spice and tannin in the Sagrantino.

 

A main of Selected steak w hand cut fried potatoes, caramelised onion jam, broccolini, basil pesto & jus $30-35: the savoury, smoky meat and salty crisp potatoes will enhance the blue and purple fruit nose of the Sagrantino, providing a sweet point and savoury spice to the dish.

A main of SA Black Angus beef fillet, spring onion & speck croquette, fennel puree, broccolini, salsa verde, jus $36: the smoky meat will be beautifully complemented with the spiciness and blue fruit aromas of the Sagrantino.

 

Fleurieu Lamb Backstrap, green pea puree, farro, snow peas, Persian fetta, tomato, jus $32: earthy, meaty flavours in this dish will make a perfect contrast match with the violet and blueberry nose of the Sagrantino.

 

Grilled haloumi with roasted capsicum, golden beetroot, avocado, quinoa, mograbiah, local green, herbs and pomegranate vinaigrette $29: Salty, squeaky haloumi and earthy beets will be nicely contrasted with the spice, tannin and blue fruit nose of the Sagrantino.

An entree of Red Braised Kangaroo Tail, Green Tomato, Chilli Caramel & Szechuan Salt $20: sweet-hot lean meat of the kangaroo tail would enhance the spice and tannin in the Sagrantino, making for a bold match.

 

A main of Kangarilla, 4-week Dry Aged, Grass Fed 300gm Rump Steak – Roasted Tomato, Pickled Shallots, Smoked Mustard Butter & Beef Scratchings $35: Smokey savoury meaty flavours will enhance the blue and purple fruit nose of the Sagrantino, and highlight the fruit flavours in the wine making a perfect contrasting match.

A  main of “Gözleme” Hogget Pie, Dirt(y) Inc. Fried Chickpeas, Garlic Toum, Cumin Raosted Cauliflower Salad & Persian Buffalo Fetta $32: Nuttiness of the chickpeas and cauli salad would enhance the aromatics of the Grenache, as well as the bright red fruit. The spices would be well matched to those in the wine.

 

Sri Lankan Style “Hopper” – Fermented Coconut Pancake, Cauliflower Curry, Spiced Pumpkin, Egg, Coconut Sambal $30: the spiced curry would match the savoury spice in the Grenache, and the picles would enhance the redcurrant fruit flavours of the wine.

 

Roasted Market Fish, Pearl Barley, Toolunka Creek Giant Green Olives, Zucchini & Yoghurt $32: the red and cola fruit in the Grenache would be enhanced with the salty, tangy salad accompanying the sweet fish.
